Or at least that’s what you do if you’re a Saudi prince.
An image uploaded to Reddit yesterday, demonstrates exactly that, with the uploader lensoo saying his pilot friend had sent him the photo.
Eagle-eyed commenters noted that the feather-filled airline is obviously not Qatar Airways, as they limit each passenger to carrying one falcon on board the economy passenger cabin, and a maximum of just six falcons are permitted on any one flight in economy. Spoilsports.
The birds are ultimate status symbols in the Middle East and can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to purchase. According to the International Association for Falconry and Conservation of Birds of Prey, around half of the world’s falconers are located in the Middle East.
