Along with performing at the Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday, Lady Gaga will also be featured in Tiffany & Co.’s first-ever Super Bowl ad just in time for her extravagant performance.
Although it may seem unusual for Tiffany’s to advertise during the Super Bowl, every Super Bowl trophy since 1967 has been designed and produced by the iconic jewelry brand. In a preview clip for the ad, Gaga says “I always want to be challenging the status quo. It’s pretentious to talk about how creative you are. I don’t feel that way at all. I think it’s empowering and important, and I’m coming for you.”
Hopefully, this partnership will increase sales at Tiffany’s Fifth Avenue flagship store, which is still suffering from a decrease in sales due to anti-Trump protests and heightened security at the Trump Tower next door.
