Expensive eatery extraordinaire Eleven Madison Park will close over the summer so the dining room and kitchen can be renovated.
The three Michelin-star restaurant is famed for its pricey tasting menu that comprises of 8-10 courses for $295.
It’s not yet known how long the restaurant — which is owned by Daniel Humm and Will Guidara — will be closed or how the restaurant will change. Plans are also in the works to send the restaurant’s staff to work elsewhere during construction, Eater reports.
The duo, who are also the brains behind the Nomad, recently announced that they will also open a new restaurant in the Westfield Shopping Center. The restaurant will take up 7,000 square feet of the ground floor of the 3 World Trade Center Tower and will overlook the Oculus. There is no name or designer for that restaurant yet. [Eater]
