Want to really impress your Valentine this year? Consider presenting them with a single $22 strawberry.

The fancy Kotoka strawberry is being sold at upscale Hong Kong supermarket CitySuper, which calls itself a “mega lifestyle specialty store.”

Nestled on a bed of synthetic straw and encased in styrofoam, the hand picked fruit is imported “fresh by air” from Japan.

“We are hoping to bring more choices of premium fresh produce to Hong Kong customer,” CitySuper said in a statement to Time. “From Kotoka, the strawberries are considered as delicacies of limited quantity and they are handpicked to ensure only the highest quality ones are harvested.”

Call us old fashioned, but here at LLNYC, we prefer our boxes with diamonds in them.

If you do decide to splurge, might we suggest pairing the berry with an $18 cup of coffee, or a $60 bottle of water? [Time]
