Interior designer Karim Rashid lists all-white Hell’s Kitchen home

Interior designer Karim Rashid — who Time magazine once described as the “most famous industrial designer in all the Americas” — has just listed his townhouse at The Dillon on 425 West 53rd Street for $4.7 million.

The four-bedroom spread comes with floor-to-ceiling windows, a chef’s kitchen, high ceilings, hardwood floors and a 700-square-foot private outdoor terrace.

Considering Rashid is famed for wearing all white, it comes as no surprise that his home follows a similar palette. Quirky furniture and art aside, the pad’s only splashes of color come in the form of a green kitchen backsplash, a small pink feature wall and a psychedelic floor.

The furniture is mostly designed by Rashid himself, but alas, broker Avi Alkotzer of Corcoran, who has the listing, tells us it doesn’t come with the apartment.

The credenza is part of a line that Rashid created in 2012, Curbed reports. The patchwork couch was part of a collection for Meritalia back in 2008.
