Kellyanne Conway took a break from being on TV to go house hunting

Sure, Kellyanne Conway may have violated ethics laws when she urged people to “go buy Ivanka’s stuff,” but she would like you to know that that isn’t the reason she hasn’t been on TV for a week.

No, according to an interview she did last night with Fox News’ Sean Hannity, Conway hasn’t been on TV because she’s been …. house hunting!

“I don’t think I have to explain myself if I’m not going on TV, if I’m out with four kids for three days looking at houses and schools,” she told Hannity. “A lot of my colleagues aren’t trying to figure out how to be a mother of four kids, I assure you.”

She also went on to insist that Trump “is his own best messenger” and that only “about 5 percent of what I’m being asked to do in this White House counselor role is TV.”

We aren’t completely convinced, however, that Conway’s excuses aren’t more “alternative facts.” Conway has made a whole lot of gaffes recently, like telling MSNBC that Michael Flynn had the president’s “full confidence” — only to have him resign a few hours later. And referring to something called the “Bowling Green Massacre,” which never happened. Obviously, these incidents don’t exactly make the administration look good — which many believe is the real reason Conway has been MIA from news programs.

If she really is house hunting, though, we have a feeling that would make some incredible TV. Any interest on going on “House Hunters,” Kellyanne? [Deadline]
