Calvin Klein sells minimalist Miami mansion for $13M

Fashion icons are so over Miami.

At least we’re guessing that’s the case, seeing as Calvin Klein has just sold his Miami getaway in the same week that Tommy Hilfiger listed his.

The 5,802-square-foot minimalist spread sold for $12.8 million, reports Variety, rather less than its original price tag of $16 million.

The house — described by its listing as one that “captures the essence of Zen” — comes with five bedrooms, beamed ceilings, furnishings and antiques by designer Axel Vervoordt, a whole lot of rustic vibes, outdoor living and dining areas, a two-car garage, a private dock and an infinity pool overlooking the bay.

Klein is no stranger to real estate; he used to own the Police Building’s very impressive penthouse, and reportedly maintains a triplex penthouse in one of the Richard Meier-designed towers that line the West Side Highway in the West Village.
