It may have only been a little over two weeks ago that we published our guide to Manhattan’s most “hygge” listings in honor of the snowstorm that stilled the city, but today has delivered some unseasonably warm weather and where better to spend it than in a glorious garden. Here are some of the best the city’s listings have to offer:

62 Cooper Square Penthouse (credit: Stribling)

62 Cooper Square Penthouse

$29.5 million | Condo; eight bedrooms, nine-and-a-half bathrooms

This might technically be a terrace, but one with this much greenery most certainly deserves to make our list. This East Village penthouse actually has two terraces, and both have plants, trees and the small patches of lawn even get mowed.

121 Washington Place

$16.8 million | Townhouse; five bedrooms, five bathrooms

Built in 1831 and completely remodeled in 1925, this townhouse is owned by entertainment attorney Rosemary Carroll and veteran record industry executive Danny Goldberg. At the back of their pretty walled garden is an English styled cottage.

160 East 83rd Street

$20 million | Townhouse; five bedrooms, six bathrooms

At 54-feet wide, this manicured space is thought to be one of the largest private gardens in the city. If natural sunlight isn’t your thing, you might be pleased to hear the house has an indoor basketball court too.

29 East 10th Street Penthouse

$10.2 million | Condo; five bedrooms, four bathrooms, three half bathrooms

Another penthouse terrace has made our list, but just like the previous one, it’s really rather nice. The two landscaped spaces come with speakers, an outdoor kitchen and strings of charming Christmas lights. There’s even a view of the Empire State Building if you stand in the right spot.

19 West 12th Street

$26.5 million | Townhouse; five bedrooms, seven-and-a-half bathrooms

This Greenwich Village townhouse has previously been owned by both actress Meryl Streep and heiress Libet Johnson. Here at LLNYC we want nothing more than to channel them both while we sip iced tea on that patio.
