A fashionable crowd gathered at a $10.4 million townhouse listing in West Chelsea last Thursday, which opened its doors to a pop-up art exhibit that will be up until May 1 (unless the spread sells before then). The collection features works by the young French national Nicolas Saint Gregorie and the Warhol muse Ultra Violet — the latter of which displayed two framed, tinted mirrors bearing the words “SELF PORTRAIT,” ideal for taking cell phone “selfies.”
Luxury Listings NYC popped by the event to check out the art and walk through the listing (see the photos below). The townhouse, located at 450 West 25th Street between Ninth and Tenth avenues, boasts five stories of living space, as well as a basement and a penthouse. There are six bedrooms, seven bathrooms and two half bathrooms. Of particular note is the wall of glass windows that look out to the home’s terrace and garden space.
Leonard Steinberg, Herve Senequier and Yoko Sanada of Douglas Elliman have the listing for the home, which was developed by Magnum Real Estate Group. — Zachary Kussin
