Missed your chance to book a stay in Trump Tower through Airbnb?
Well you still have an opportunity to live in a Trump-branded building — albeit for a much higher price.
Two adjoining units at Trump International Hotel & Tower have just hit the market asking $19.9 million, per StreetEasy. According to city records, they are owned by Sanjiv Ahuja, founder and chairman of the telecommunications company Tillman Global Holdings. He paid a little less than $6.5 million for one unit in 2009, and $6.25 million for the other unit in 2012. Ahuja declined to comment for this story.
According to the listing, with Susan James of Trump International Realty, the two apartments span 3,900 square feet, and feature five bedrooms and more than five bathrooms between them. They offer views of Central Park, ensuite bathrooms and crown moldings.
Last week, a fire broke out in the building on the 47th floor; a unit on that floor, 47BC, has been on the market for almost a year, and is currently asking $34.5 million, making it the most expensive listing in the building.
