Amy Schumer loses $70K on sale of UWS bachelorette pad

Personally, we would love to say we lived in the same apartment Amy Schumer did before she made it big. But apparently others are not so inclined. Her cute one-bedroom apartment at 129 West 80th Street has just closed for $1.625 million — $70,000 less than she paid for it in 2014 (the sale was first spotted by the New York Post).

Of course, we suspect the “Snatched” and “Trainwreck” star is simply off to better things; she bought a much bigger, 4,500-square-foot, five-bedroom Upper West Side penthouse apartment at 190 Riverside Drive for $12.15 million in October 2016.

Schumer listed this bachelorette pad with Adam Modlin of the Modlin Group in March last year for $1.795 million. The one bedroom, one and a half bathroom apartment has a glorious rooftop, two fireplaces, skylights, built-in bookshelves and a claw foot tub.

Per city records, the buyer is John Cosenza, who appears to work at Goldman Sachs. [NYP]

  • I was paid $104k in 2016 by working from my home and I did it by working part time for 3+ hrs daily. I was following an earning opportunity I found online and I am amazed that I was able to earn so much money on the side. It’s beginner friendly and I am just so happy that i found this. Check out what I did…
