A real gem of a property in the Hamptons will be available this summer to rent.
Known as the Double Diamond house, the angular structure in Westhampton beach was designed in 1958 by architect Andrew Geller.
Owner Jonathan Pearlroth inherited the house from his father, reports Newsday. In 2013, he moved it from its original spot to a new lot closer to Dune Road, restored it with the help of CookFox Architects, and turned it into a 600-square-foot architecturally-significant pool house.
Double Diamond house now sits across a saltwater pool from a newer 4,200-square-foot home Pearlroth built. The larger pad comes with five bedrooms, an open living room, a media room, a dry and a steam sauna, mahogany decking, an outdoor dining area and a hot tub.
Double Diamond house meanwhile, comes with a kitchen, bath, living room and several lounging spaces.
The entire property is available from Memorial Day through Labor Day for $250,000.
Lauren A. Battista of Brown Harris Stevens has the listing.
