A TV show is being made about Donald Trump’s heyday in 1980’s New York

Fascination with Donald Trump is not a new thing; our President has been making headlines since the 1980’s, and a new TV show will aim to show us the commander-in-chief living it up in his heyday.

Ryan Murphy, the creator of “Feud,” “American Horror Story,” “Scream Queens” and “American Crime Story,” is working on a new television show — “Pose” — that will examine “the juxtaposition of several segments of life and society in New York: the rise of the luxury Trump-era universe, the downtown social and literary scene and the ball cultural world,” according to the Hollywood Reporter.

If Murphy’s other shows are anything to go on, we can expect “Pose” to be a campy, thrilling joyride that hopefully stars Jessica Lange as Ivana Trump. Unlike Murphy’s other FX projects, this show would be a series, not an anthology, and if it gets picked up by the network, it will likely air in 2018. [THR]
