Ron Howard sure has a beautiful mind … for real estate, that is.
The Academy Award winning director just listed his co-op at the Eldorado at 300 Central Park West for $12.5 million, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Howard and his wife Cheryl bought the apartment in 2004 for just under $6 million, and did a “complete renovation” on it, according to the listing broker. It is on the 26th floor of the north tower, has views of the Reservoir, three bedrooms, a library, a fireplace in the living room, and an eat-in kitchen.
The listing agents are Robin Kencel, Lyn Stevens and Ann Cutbill Lenane of Douglas Elliman. Per the Journal, the Howards are selling the unit because they are looking to move downtown.
Howard won two Oscars for directing “A Beautiful Mind.” He has also directed hits like “Apollo 13,” “The Beatles: Eight Days a Week,” and the cult TV show “Arrested Development.”
