The New York Yankees have a lot of official sponsors for a lot of rather specific things (taxes? H&R Block; flights? Delta). But now, the Yankees have an official luxury residential real estate firm.
The residential brokerage, Halstead has inked a multi-year agreement with the major league team that includes “exclusive sponsorship in the luxury real estate category,” according to a press release. The brokerage will get branding in Yankee Stadium, as well as cross-promotion.
“Halstead is incredibly proud to partner with the Yankees, a brand synonymous with style, power, confidence and success,” Matthew Leone, CMO of Halstead, said in a statement. “The synergy between Halstead and the Yankees is clear: both brands have an enduring commitment to aspire and achieve greatness.”
He added that both Halstead and the Yankees are NYC “born and bred,” committed to “being the best in our respective fields,” and boast “decades of trust and respect.”
Branding in Yankee Stadium will include televisions ads, a permanent infield porch sign, and sponsorship of the “Starting Lineups” HD screen feature. Third Base Champions Lounge will be renamed Halstead Lounge.
“We are very excited about partnering with Halstead, a prestigious New York brand,” Bryan Calka, vice president of Partnerships with the New York Yankees, said. “We are confident that this partnership will help continue to grow its brand presence and re-affirm Halstead as the industry leader in the luxury real estate market.”
