From LLNYC’s Look at Listings: A townhouse at 3 East 94th Street owned by the late president of American Express has been listed on the market for $29.5 million.

Edward Gilligan was president of American Express from 2013 until his untimely death in May 2015. He died at the age of 55 while aboard a corporate jet flying from Tokyo to New York. According to his New York Times obituary, he started working at American Express as an intern and stayed at the company for 35 years.

The house was first listed in November last year with Lois Nasser of Sotheby’s International Realty. Today it was listed with an additional broker, Kevin Sneddon of Private Client Realty. [more]
