Tom Brady reportedly spends extra $10M to live on the 12th floor of his new building

Superstar quarterback, Tom Brady, and his supermodel wife, Gisele Bundchen, have reportedly decided to buy a different apartment than the one they settled on last year in Robert A.M. Stern’s new 70 Vestry building, because Brady is insisting on living on the 12th floor.

A source told Page Six, “Perhaps Tom is superstitious, or perhaps in honor of his Super Bowl win, or the recent return of his stolen Super Bowl jerseys, he decided he had to be on the 12th floor.” (Brady wears the Patriot’s number 12 jersey).

The apartment Brady and Bundchen originally purchased was on the 11th floor. Their new one, on the 12th floor, has five bedrooms, five and a half bathrooms and a 1,900-square-foot terrace. It’s also much more expensive than the one they originally had their eye on, which was listed for $20 million, while this one is $29.5 million.  We guess you can’t put a price on luck. [NYP]
