Grammy award winning producer Mark Ronson just sold his Amagansett home at 1 Marlin Drive for $1.45 million, the New York Post reports.
The 1,400-square-foot, four-bedroom, two-bath home sits on .17 acres a block away from the beach, and has a fireplace, an outdoor shower and a deck with barn doors. The Post reports the buyer is a Connecticut family.
Ronson is best known for his cover of “Valerie” with Amy Winehouse and for being one of the writers and producers of “Uptown Funk.” Other famous residents of Amagansett include Paul McCartney, Alec Baldwin, Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick, Christie Brinkley, Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin, Scarlett Johansson, Harvey Weinstein and Lorne Michaels, to name a few.
Just last year, Ronson spoke to Hamptons Magazine about the emotional ties he has with the home, “I have a house between Amagansett and Montauk. That’s where I proposed to my wife, on the beach at Napeague.”
