Anna Wintour is auctioning off a pair of her sunglasses for charity

We can’t think of a chicer way to sneer at the world than through a pair of sunglasses once owned by the fashion queen herself, Anna Wintour.

Well on April 24th, you’ll have the chance to own them; the Vogue editor-in-chief just donated a pair of her Chanel shades to a charity auction on eBay. The auction is happening in conjunction with performances of a one-man parody musical by Ryan Raftery called, “Ryan Raftery is the Most Powerful Woman in Fashion.” Raferty plays Wintour after she put Kim Kardashian and Kanye West on the cover of Vogue — to much controversy.

Raftery debuted the play in 2014 to rave reviews, and tells E! Online he is bringing it back now in order to raise money for LGBT youth.  “I was inspired to do this after Pres. Trump’s repeal of the transgender bathroom policy in our nation’s schools and desperately wanted to show my support in some small way.”

Performances of the play are happening on April 27th-28th at 54 Below. A portion of the proceeds from the April 27th performance and the charity auction will be donated to the Trevor Project, which helps young LGBT people with crisis intervention and suicide prevention. [E! Online]
