Kanye designed a line of jewelry and it ain’t cheap

In addition to rapping, feuding with Taylor Swift and designing clothes, Kanye West can now add another career to his lengthy resumé: jewelry designer.

The multi-talented man has just released his first collection of jewelry called “Yeezy Supply,” which Kim Kardashian has been wearing for months now, with no one noticing.  She seems to have been at least partially responsible for the collection; West told Vogue that he made the jewelry because he wanted “create something that represented timeless love.” Awwwww.

West collaborated with none other than Jacob the Jeweler on the 12-piece collection (no word on whether they held meetings in his 432 Park apartment). Kanye had pretty high-brow inspiration for the collection; he claims he was inspired by 14th-century Florentine art.

The jewels are pretty pricy as well; an 18K gold chain with an imprint of a saint on it is selling for $13,360, while a snakelike bangle is $9,610. [Vogue]
