Nestled in the Pyrenees between France and Spain, the tiny nation of Andorra is best known for two things: its status as a tax haven and its wonderful ski resorts. In other words, it is the perfect country for the wealthy set to visit.

For anyone looking to set down (at least semi) permanent roots in the country, might we recommend this classic chalet, in Pal. Currently listed for a little more than $4 million, the listing notes it is near the ski slopes of Pal and Arinsal, as well as the golf resort Xixerella. The 5,381-square-foot home has three bedrooms, five bathrooms and it sits on about 10,000 square feet of land (though it is possible to annex another 13,000 square feet of land for about $950,000 more). The house also has a four car garage, a fireplace made from local stone, an American kitchen, terraces and bathroom features from Rolex.

It’s the perfect home for sheltering from the cold — or from the tax man.
