Fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger pulled his $58.9 million Plaza Hotel apartment off of the market yesterday after a nearly 10 year effort to part with the pad.
He’s had a change of heart, and decided he wants to keep it after all, reports Mansion Global.
Hilfiger and his wife Dee, bought the 5,600-square-foot duplex condo from the developer in 2008 for a total of $25.5 million. The couple listed the pad initially for $50 million just a few months after closing to no avail. It was later listed in 2013 for $80 million before being lowered once more to $75 million. Then it was again listed for $69 million and finally $58.9 million.
The spread comes with four bedrooms, a dome room, Central Park views, and a whole lot of character.
The designer is still trying to part with his Miami house though, which has only been on the market since February. The lavish beach-front pad is asking $27.5 million.
