Starting on Monday and lasting through the end of the week, the five-star Marmara Park Avenue Hotel will be serving — or should we say stirring — some very, very expensive martinis.
The Billionaire Martini will cost imbibers $5,000 and comes with a far better accompaniment than peanuts — a night in the hotel’s lavish three-bedroom duplex penthouse, reports Forbes, to celebrate the season finale of show Billions.
The hotel’s bartenders will be rinsing a chilled martini glass with Raki, an anise-flavored spirit, then adding elit Vodka and, of course, a sprinkle of edible 24-carat gold.
Here’s the recipe so you can make it yourself (without the price tag)
The Billionaire Martini
- 3 oz elit Pristine Water Series Andean Edition vodka
- 1/2 oz Raki
- Rinse a chilled martini glass with the Raki and then discard. In a mixing glass, stir the elit with ice until cold. Strain into glass and garnish with a dusting of edible 24k gold flakes.
- Served with a side of Turkish Olives
