Going, going, gone: The snazziest pads to depart from the market this week

Thanks to our friends over at StreetEasy, we’re rather on top of this city’s real estate comings and goings — emphasis on goings.

This week, a handful of highly priced pads left the market, and here are the ones we’re saddest to see go — although, we rather suspect we’ll see some of them again soon, perhaps with a spanking new price tag.

145-146 Central Park West #PH26C Off Market

Gone from the market this week is Demi Moore’s sprawling penthouse at the San Remo. Moore first put the co-op on the market in 2015 for $75 million, but the 17-room spread was most recently asking $59 million.

Although StreetEasy shows the property has simply left the market, a little birdie told us it sold for $45 million.

140 Franklin Street #5B Off Market

The Tribeca loft belonging to J. Crew CEO Mickey Drexler has also bid farewell to the market. The quirky five-bedroom spread comes with interiors courtesy of French designer Thierry Despont.

Drexler has been trying to part with the unit for some time, back in 2015 it was asking $35 million. It was most recently asking almost $20 million.

4 Sutton Square Off Market

The last of three celeb-listings to have left the market this week belongs to contentious former CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch, Mike Jeffries. His townhouse at 4 Sutton Square hit the market in October 2016 for $19.5 million, it was last asking $17.5 million.

The house comes with a chef’s kitchen, a formal dining room, a French polished wood paneled library, a two-story mahogany paneled sitting room, and mirrors galore.
