Academy Award-winning actress Holly Hunter’s Greenwich Village co-op home is no longer available for sale, according to a StreetEasy listing update. Hunter listed the 43 Fifth Avenue spread for $8.7 million in February before cutting the asking price to $8.25 million in March, as Luxury Listings NYC reported.
Steve Halprin and Jan Hashey of Douglas Elliman had the listing, which no longer appears on the Elliman webiste. The brokers declined to comment.
Hunter, who starred in “The Piano” and “Broadcast News,” bought the home from actress Julia Roberts for $4.1 million in 2005, according to previous reports.
The digs have three bedrooms, three bathrooms and two windowed offices, along with original wood moldings and trims around the windows. The 3,000-square-foot space could have been converted into a five-bedroom home, per previous reports.
Hunter could not immediately be reached for comment. — Zachary Kussin
