Disgraced former Saatchi & Saatchi chairman lists Tribeca penthouse for $6M

Kevin Roberts, the former CEO and chairman of advertising giant Saatchi & Saatchi, has just listed his duplex penthouse at 53 North Moore Street in Tribeca for $6 million.

The 2,350-square-foot apartment has two bedrooms and one bathroom, and was designed by architect Sam Trimble, according to the listing with Barrie Mandel and David Bonavita of Corcoran. It also has a private terrace on the first floor, a master bathroom with a rain shower and “center waterfall,” as well as a glorious 600-square-foot rooftop terrace upstairs. It was featured in Architectural Digest in 2003.

Roberts paid a little more than $1.9 million for the apartment in 2001.

Roberts resigned as chairman of Saatchi & Saatchi in September 2016 following controversial comments he made in an interview with Business Insider, when he said that the “fucking debate is all over” about gender diversity in the industry, that he doesn’t spend “any time” on gender issues in workplace, and that Cindy Gallop, an advertising consultant who advocates for equality, has got “”problems that are of her own making. I think she’s making up a lot of the stuff to create a profile, and to take applause, and to get on a soap[box].”

In January 2017, Roberts was named chairman of the PR agency, Beattie Communications.
