Saddle up Sloane Rangers: Krug is throwing a decadent festival in the English countryside

The Krug champagne house is branching out from bubbly and into festivals (don’t worry it will be nothing like Fyre). Krug announced they’ll be hosting their first luxury festival this summer in the English countryside.

Called “Into the Wild,” guests will get to feast on barbecued meats cooked on 10-foot-high fires that will — naturally — be paired with Krug Champagne, reports Decanter.

According the festival’s website, the event will be held in the “grand English wilderness.”

For those wondering what part of England constitutes the wilderness, it’s apparently the grounds of The Grange, an 18th century heritage site and manor in the decidedly un-wild county of Hampshire.

There will also be curated musical performances, and although no acts have been announced, rest assured, “performers will be carefully selected to match the mood created by the theatrical settings during the evening, guiding guests through the smoke from space to space, dish to dish.”

Tickets for the one-day festival will cost £395 (approximately $510) per person or £750 ($970) for a pair. [Decanter]
