Once a sleepy surf town, now the East End’s very own version of the Meatpacking District, Montauk is in desperate need of some grown-up flavors. This summer it will be getting just that: introducing Flagship, a new restaurant and bar by father and son duo chef Eric Miller and Adam Miller.
Miller is a 30 year veteran of the NYC and Long Island dining scenes, including East Hampton’s Bay Kitchen Bar, and he’s planning a cool mix of locally-sourced-seafood-focused small plates and craft cocktails. Adam will play mixologist and is bringing his signature pre-bottled classic cocktails (martinis, negroni and manhattans served by the bottle) and frozen drinks in take out container-shaped glassware to the surf town.
“We are committed to making Flagship an exemplar of everything that is fresh and local on the East End,” says chef Miller. “I am also delighted to partner again with my son, Adam, who is taking the craft of the cocktail to new heights in Montauk.”
Flagship is located directly on the harbor at 466 West Lake Drive.
