It’s no secret that Diane Keaton has a thing for home design. In fact, the actress, producer, and director has made such a lucrative side gig out of house flipping over the years, she practically deserves her own HGTV show.
In her spare time, the 71-year-old Oscar winner has managed to beautifully transform and sell a number of California homes — from a 1920s Spanish colonial style residence in Beverly Hills to a Pacific Palisades manse with some spunky signage.
Now you can own one of her former properties, a Laguna Beach beauty that’s back on the market for $16 million.
The Oscar-winning actress bought the home in 2004 for $7.5 million. She renovated the home and lived there until selling the property in 2006 for $12.7 million, according to realty company Villa Real Estate, who shares the listing with Berkshire Hathaway.
Constructed for the J. Roy Smith ranching family in 1928, the gorgeous estate was used as a weekend home for years until the family sold it to the star.
And the four-bedroom, six-bathroom Mediterranean Revival house has all the elements you’d expect of a Keaton abode.
Inside, you’ll find exquisite Spanish-style artisan tiles and light fixtures, original iron work, classic white walls, spacious outdoor areas, including a stone terrace with a fireplace, and plenty of gorgeous views.
The estate-style home just happens to boast one of the best oceanfront locations on Shaw’s Cove in Laguna Beach, and even comes with its own private ‘beach garage’ on the sand with room for kayaks and paddle boards.
If that wasn’t enough to sell you, keep scrolling and check out the video below for a full look at this stunning California property.
