The White House better prep its glam room! Melania and Barron Trump are reportedly planning to move out of Trump Tower and into the White House next week (which also happens to be the President’s birthday week).
The move comes six months after President Donald Trump was inaugurated, which many found to be a little bit too long of a delay. The security measures necessary for keeping the First Lady and Barron in New York were estimated to be costing the city $146,000-a-day. A petition on Change.Org to “make Melania Trump stay in the White House or pay for the expenses herself” garnered more than 565,000 signatures.
Some experts feel that Melania’s presence in the White House may have a calming effect on the president. “Her presence is not going to stop any investigations, but at a time when this particular presidency needs an air of stability, it might lend that,” a history professor told Politico.
