Actress Diane Kruger, who recently received the Best Actress Award at the Cannes Film Festival for her performance in the German movie “In the Fade,” is one of Tribeca’s newest residents.
Kruger — through a trust — dropped $4.2 million on an eco-conscious pad on White Street, reports Women’s Wear Daily. She got the two bedroom, two-and-a-half bathroom apartment at a discount — it was asking $4.65 million.
The 1,943 square foot, full-floor spread has oversized windows, high ceilings, reclaimed oak flooring, and an original brick wall, according to the listing. Plus there’s a custom kitchen, mud room, walk-in closet, laundry room and comes pre wired with tech and security systems.
The building, built in 1869, holds just eight units. It dubs itself as “Tribeca’s smartest and most environmentally-conscious boutique condominium.” Its amenities include a fitness center, a private residential lounge and a planted eco-wall.
