Alfred and Patsy Kahn, who bought Bernie Madoff’s penthouse on the Upper East Side, sold the three-bedroom, four-and-a-half bathroom duplex for almost $15 million.
The couple, which has since separated, bought the home at 133 East 64th Street. where Madoff had lived since 1984, for roughly $8 million in 2010.
The apartment was first put on the market by the Kahns last year, when they asked for $17.25 million after renovating the place. Still, no buyers were found to live in Madoff’s former digs.
