Former model and Sports Illustrated cover-star Christie Brinkley has just chopped $5 million from the price of her Sag Harbor home, bringing the home’s ask down to $20 million.
Brinkley listed the harbor-front house in October 2016. Built in 1843, the 5,500-square-foot Colonial-style house is set on four-and-a-half acres of land. It comes with gardens, a bay-side Gunite pool, and period details: like the grand columns covering the home’s two facades and the wide-plank pine floors.
It also has a garden hose, which Brinkley used on a woman who was peeing on the beach last summer.
This isn’t the first time Brinkley has listed the spread, in 2010 it tried the market asking $15.7 million.
“In the world of real estate, I’ve been truly impressed with Christie’s real estate acumen,” listing broker Enzo Morabito told LLNYC back in June, referring to another Brinkley property, “She ‘gets’ the golden rule of real estate – location, location, location.”
