StreetEasy launches mobile app

StreetEasy, the online database of real estate listings, unveiled its new iPhone app on Wednesday.

The site’s data is accessible through the new app. Users — both renters and buyers — can search the market in a specific neighborhood or building. It’s also possible to look for floor plans and open houses.

The application also conducts searches by basic criteria, such as building amenities, price, condo vs. co-op or no-fee rentals. The app also provides interactions with individual listings. Users can swipe a single property to their right to see the property’s location on a map. Swiping left enables users to adjust search filters.

“We’re equipping consumers and agents with instant, on-location access to New York City’s most complete database of sales listings, rentals listings and historical data,” said Susan Daimler, vice president of StreetEasy and Zillow New York, in an annoucement. – Claire Moses
