We guess the family that works together, lives together. Or at least, right next to each other. Mahmud Kamani, the founder of the British clothing company Boohoo, and his sister Rabia, have just bought neighboring apartments at Zaha Hadid’s 520 West 28th Street for about $5 million each, per city records.

The Kamanis can definitely afford their new places; they reportedly sold more than $100 million worth of shares in the company in June. In addition to their own line of clothes, they also bought the bankrupted brand Nasty Gal in April, and own the discount line, Pretty Little Thing.

The unit that Mahmud bought is a 1,717-square-foot, two-bedroom, two and a half bathroom unit, with a “curve” window in the master bedroom. Rania’s unit is slightly smaller at 1,691 square feet, though it also has two bedrooms and two bathrooms and costs slightly more (perhaps because it has a “chevron” signature window in the main room).
