We guess Rachael Ray is going to be cooking with EVOO somewhere else. The chef and television personality has just listed her Southampton home for $4.9 million, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Ray and her husband, John Cusimano, paid $2.6 million for the home in 2008, and proceeded to extensively renovate it, decking it out with Rachael Ray-branded furniture (which she might be persuaded to sell, along with the house). The 3,650-square-foot home sits on six acres and has three bedrooms, an outdoor pool, a large pool house with its own kitchen and two bathrooms, plus some sort of additional outdoor structure that can be used as studio.
The main house, of course, also has a state-of-the-art kitchen with a Wolf range, Sub-Zero refrigerator and “dual beverage-cooling drawers” (essentially, a very fancy wine rack).
The listing agents, Martha P. Gundersen and Richard Ziegelasch of Brown Harris Stevens, told the Journal that Ray is selling because she and her husband prefer to spend their summers in their home in upstate New York.
