With just a few sunny days left this summer, there’s still time to check out Lake Tahoe’s most recent luxury hotspot — the brand new Lake Club by The Ritz-Carlton.

Since it’s opening in 2009, The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe has been the spotlight resort in the posh vacation city. But sadly, it hide one massive flaw: lack of access to the lake itself.

Now, the luxurious resort can be declared flawless, as the hotel has installed a separate Lake Club with direct access to Lake Tahoe.

This extravagant extension to the hotel features a 650-square-foot building housing a full bar, dining terrace, dining deck, gathering area and an expansive lawn area with a view of the lake.

Hotel guests can step outside and have exclusive access to luxury boat rentals, parasailing, waterskiing, charter fishing and even a Formula yacht. If you’re not into lake-swimming, there’s a whirlpool available and a fire pit for late-night warming up.
