A $400k French dinner in Macau that’s sure to impress your date

This menu is far as it gets from your typical resort buffet.

At the upscale Macau resort, City of Dreams, French chef Fabrice Vulin just opened Tasting Room, featuring the most expensive beef and wine in the world.

Vulin is serving up a lavish piece of 2000 vintage cote de boeuf rib steak — a cut of meat that can run up to $3,200, according to Forbes.

Nothing says class like a nice dish of caviar, and Vulin is making lots of it here. He’s importing some of the world’s finest sturgeon eggs and selling them at 4500 Macanese patacas for 50 grams — that’s around $560 USD!

“It’s always about the taste,” Vulin tells Forbes. “While the visual is important, there are no gimmicks on my plates. With ingredients of such exceptional quality, often you just need to leave them alone.”

Only the finest of wines can be paired with this exclusive dinner treat. Vulin is offering bottles of the uber-exclusive Penfolds Ampule of 2004 Block 42 Cabernet for around $315,000.

If you’re not a wine connoisseur, and fail to appreciate this very special bottle, you can have a hand-blown Baccarat decanter of Remy Martin Black Pearl — a blend of 1200 eaux-de-vie aged between 40 to 100 years. This bottle costs $40,000.

If this meal doesn’t impress your date, we’re not sure anything will.
