There’s no shortage of multimillion dollar penthouses out there. So in order to make this particular one, in Sunny Isles, Florida, stand out, the developers are offering a rather odd extra incentive to buyers: A diamond.

A pink diamond, to be exact, which is one of the rarest and most expensive kinds. The diamond will be worth around $500,000; the broker, Chad Carroll of Douglas Elliman, told the Journal that the exact stone will be chosen after closing.

The 11,000-square-foot unit is located in the Regalia and spans six floors, with six bedrooms (including a 1,500-square-foot master bathroom with its own sauna, massage tables and steam room). There’s also a ten-seat movie theater, a 6,000-square-foot roof deck with a wraparound balcony, a “cascading waterfall” and a pool on the 46th floor.

We aren’t sure how the diamond will fit into this whole arrangement, but we guess it will look nice displayed prominently in the living room somewhere. Just don’t drop it off the roof deck. [WSJ]
