It’s been a long and sad summer for fine diners in New York City, as one of its finest restaurants, Eleven Madison Park, closed in June for renovations (and had a pretty epic going away party, we may add).
Well thankfully, that dry spell is coming to an end. The restaurant, which received top honors in this year’s World’s 50 Best Restaurant list, announced on Friday that it would be reopening on October 8th. It has already begun accepting reservations on its website.
While we’re sure the renovation will have made the space beautiful, that doesn’t mean a meal there will come cheap. The Dining Room tasting menu of eight to 10 courses costs $295 per person, while the bar tasting menu of five courses costs $155 per person.
If you can’t wait until October though, you can check out the restaurant’s “more casual” pop-up location, EMP Summer House in East Hampton.
