The Prostate Cancer Foundation, which raises money for research into the deadly disease, hosted their 13th annual gala at the Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill, NY on Saturday night.
Guests donated money to the cause through both a live auction, when 15 pledged $75,000 per year to support the research of a young scientist. And a silent auction, when First Wall Street CEO Glenn Myles bid $100,000 to attend four MLB games as a VIP with Mike Milken. Later, the band Kool & The Gang treated guests to a rousing performance.
Notable guests of the event included Michael Milken (Founder), David Koch, Bill Ackman, Tom Lee, David and Sybil Yurman, Jonathan and Sheryl Sokoloff, Gina Rinehart, Dr. Francis Collins (Director of the National Institutes of Health), David Shulkin (Secretary of Veterans Affairs), Jerry and Adrianne Cohen, Mitch Modell, Larry Leeds, and Igor Tulchinsky.
