Fans of the BBC adaptations Agatha Christie’s Poirot novels have been swooning over the Belgian’s art deco apartment in the fictional Whitehaven Mansions for nearly three decades.
But Christie’s real life digs weren’t that far off from the fiction — for instance both Christie and Poirot lived in horseshoe shaped art deco buildings in London.
The world’s most popular mystery writer lived in one-bedroom flat in Chelsea building called Swan Court. She even set her novel “Third Girl” there, according to Town and Country.
