Jon Moynihan, a famed British venture capitalist and prominent voice in the pro-Brexit movement, has just listed his longtime townhouse in Chelsea at 483 West 22nd Street for $9.9 million.

Moynihan bought the home in 1985 with his wife Patricia Underwood, a hat designer. The property’s listing broker, Dexter Guerrieri of Vandenberg, declined to comment on why Moynihan and Underwood are selling the home, but noted it is located on “the perfect block on Chelsea” due to its location across the street from Clement Clarke Moore Park.

The 4,150-square-foot house has six bedrooms, more than five bathrooms, and has been thoroughly renovated with help from designer Jerry Van Deelen. Special features of the property include its nine fireplaces, lush backyard garden, a dumb waiter that connects all five floors of the home, niches for artwork and a meditation room with Japanese rice screens.

Moynihan is currently the joint principal of Ipex Capital, the venture capital arm of PA Consulting Group. He is also a vocal supporter of the Brexit movement in the United Kingdom, and serves as the chair of the Vote Leave Finance Committee and was the first chair of Vote Leave’s Campaign Committee.
