Mickey Rourke looking for long term rental in the city

The Wrestler is looking for new digs.

Mickey Rourke, movie star and former boxer, reportedly looked at a gut-renovated three-bedroom at 148 West 28th Street. The full-floor unit, which also has a chef’s kitchen, is $11,750 a month. Rourke didn’t act fast enough, however, and the unit was rented to someone else.

Rourke’s second option is a $10,000-a-month listing at 14 East 33rd Street. The actor already visited the apartment since it hit the market earlier this week.

The star is in New York to promote his latest movie, “Sin City: A Dame To Kill For.” He is looking at apartments with Citi Habitats broker — and “The Young and the Restless” actor — John Enos III.

Rourke is not the only star who is looking for apartments in the Chelsea area. Beyonce and Bethenny Frankel have both been shopping for real estate there recently. [NYP, 1st] – Claire Moses
