Aby Rosen is looking to build himself a mega-mansion on Park Avenue.

Rosen wants to convert 1025 Park Avenue — currently a 10-unit co-op — into his personal mansion, the New York Daily News reported. To do so, Rosen will have to become head of the co-op board and buy out the remaining shareholders in the building.

The real estate mogul is in contract to buy 75 percent of the building’s shares from Gene Wilder’s ex-wife, Mary Wilder, who is currently the head of the co-op board.

The building — which is 60 feet wide and 19,000 square feet — would be the biggest private residence on Park Avenue. It will likely sell to Rosen for $60 million, according to the Daily News. [NYDN] – Claire Moses
