A Norman Jaffe-designed house on Shelter Island has hit the market asking just $4.1 million.

The 3,144-square-foot, four-bedroom home has been in the same family since it was built 44 years ago, according to Curbed. It also includes several decks, a pool and a dock.

It features “signature Jaffe touches” such as walls of glass, massive stone fireplaces and natural-looking redwood woodwork. Each room in the home is also oriented to make the most of the views of Gardiner’s Island, Long Beach Point and Plum Gut.

Amadeus Ehrhardt of Brown Harris Stevens has the listing. [Curbed] Christopher Cameron
