Robert F.X. Sillerman, the founder of media conglomerate SFX Entertainment, found a buyer for his Upper East Side townhouse.
The $28 million home at 157 East 70th Street entered contract, according to the New York Observer. Originally, the 10,000-square-foot, five-story home was initially listed for $36 million, but Sillerman was unable to find a buyer. The media tycoon’s home re-entered the market in September with Corcoran Group for $28 million.
Sillerman is in the process of selling six of his properties — listed for a total of $107 million — in Manhattan, Anguilla and the Hamptons.
Corcoran’s Leighton Candler and Caroline Holl had the listing.
Sillerman still owns another townhouse on 72nd Street, four homes in the Hamptons and land in Anguilla. [NYO] – Claire Moses
