The hottest spots to sleep, eat and shop in Miami

Whether you’re headed south for the winter or a weekend getaway, finding the right hotel, the best restaurant or the hippest new boutique can be tricky. Never fear, the New York Post’s Alexa supplement has a roundup of Miami’s newest and best hotspots.

At the high end of Miami’s hotel market is 1 Hotel South Beach, where rooms start at $699 a night. Set to open in 2015, the hotel features rooms averaging 700 square feet, farm-to-table food from Tom Colicchio and the city’s largest rooftop pool.

When it comes to high-end dinning in Miami, the Post recommends everything from Korean barbecue joints to Peruvian ceviche bars.

And with luxury shopping rapidly moving from Bal Harbour to the Design District, the Post has rounded up 10 boutiques that are transforming Miami’s retail scene. [NYP]Christopher Cameron
