Tis the season for pop-up shops

The holiday shopping season is in full swing, and high-end retailers the world over are looking to cash-in with New York City pop-up shops.

On Friday, Côte&Ciel, a Paris-based carryall designer opened unveil its first United States retail space at 355 Bowery, according to the New York Times.

Shops from Cuyana, NeueHouse, the Fashion Institute of Technology, Refinery29 and Fivestory have opened throughout Downtown Manhattan this week. But see them while you can, since most of the shops will have vanished by next week. [NYT] – Christopher Cameron
