Legendary NBA announcer Marv Albert has sold his condo at 150 Columbus Avenue for an even $13 million. Previous reports had suggested that Albert received $15 million for his home.
Albert bought the three-bedroom, four-bathroom apartment at 150 Columbus Avenue in 1996 for $2.39 million. Albert — together with his former ESPN producer wife Heather — will move to a larger apartment in Tribeca.
Modlin Group’s Adam Modlin was the couple’s broker. The 3,553-square-foot penthouse includes a 1,500-square-foot terrace.
Recently Albert’s checkered past resurfaced in connection with Bill Cosby’s troubles, according to the New York Observer. P.J. Masten, a former Playboy club employee who has accused Cosby of sexual assault, testified against the sportscaster in his 1997 trail, alleging that Albert, “clad in women’s underwear and garter, attempted to force himself on her in a Dallas hotel room several years earlier,” the Observer stated.
